ST4S Catalogue Overview
ST4S is a standardised approach to evaluating the privacy, security and cyber safety of online applications and other digital products used by schools.
The ST4S Catalogue offers a searchable, filterable list of ST4S assessed and unassessed products - allowing users to quickly find assessment summaries, compare products in a category (e.g. student management, learning resources), and download full reports (with appropriate access).
ST4S Reports
The reports detail how a digital product performs against privacy and security standards. They also identify key risks associated with a product, as well as advise on how these risks can be mitigated.
These reports can help schools and kura select more secure digital products.
Who should be using the ST4S Catalogue
Educational staff who are involved in selecting and using digital products.
ST4S Catalogue Access
Access for state and state integrated schools is provided through ESL. Private and charter schools should email us at digital.services@education.govt.nz.
To access the Catalogue through ESL, you will need one of the two ST4S access roles. Contact your ESL Delegated Authoriser for assistance.
‘ST4S Catalogue’ is a general access role for teaching and support staff to access the Catalogue. ‘ST4S Reports' is a limited role, for principals and individually authorised staff, to access to the Catalogue plus full assessment reports.
