SMS compliance phase
SMS Compliance is the second phase of the integration and consists of the development and testing of the automated data collection.

| UIP Data Collection – SMS Specifications version 2.23 [PDF, 1.9MB] | Full detail of the technical aspects of the system integration to be used by SMS development teams. Includes details on the data elements for business understanding. This document is targeted towards Group 1 providers; however, Group 2 providers may also use it if they wish to integrate their SMS with the UIP data system. |
| Current version of XSD [ZIP, 5KB] | The current version of the XSD file (version 5) is available in a zipped file, which will need to be downloaded, saved and unzipped - contact UIP.DataCollection@education.govt.nz if you have issues accessing the document. |
| UIP.XsdValidator [ZIP, 9KB] | Simple .Net based executable for validation of XML files. Please read the included ReadMe.txt first for instructions on how to use it.
