Overview
Requests for learning support will be going online in two phases:
From 31 August, schools and kura will be able to submit applications for the Ongoing Resource Scheme (ORS) and School High Health Needs Fund (SHHNF) online.
From mid-November, Requests for Learning Support (RFS) and related property modifications can be made online.
The application forms will be accessible through your Education Sector Logon (ESL).
There is no change to eligibility criteria or the verification and assessment process.
Benefits of applying online
Digitising requests for learning support will:
introduce a consistent, nationwide process
reduce paper and email-based processes, improving data security and privacy
reduce manual entry and potential for errors – some fields, such as your school will be populated for you
improve workflow and efficiency.
This will ultimately support a consistent experience and improved responsiveness to learners and their whānau.
