To log into Pokapū Waka Kura, your school's ESL delegated authoriser (DA) must add one of the two Pokapū Waka Kura user roles to your ESL account:

1. Pokapū Waka Kura School User – For most schools, this is the only user role available. This role allows users to complete school transport applications, view their school’s school transport assistance applications, submit conveyance allowance enrolment and attendance reporting, and from the middle of 2024, view all conveyance allowance (SESTA and non-SESTA) payments made via Pokapū Waka Kura to their school.
2. Pokapū Waka Kura School Admin – This role is available to Directly Resourced schools only. The role allows users to do everything that the Pokapū Waka Kura School user role can do, and from January 2024 it will also allow users to view their school’s Directly Resourced School Transport Assistance payments in Pokapū Waka Kura.
