You must use your own Education Sector Logon (ESL) to access the Secure Data Portal.

For schools

Contact your school’s ESL Authoriser/Delegated Authoriser to have the appropriate role assigned to your ESL user account, or to receive an email invitation for a new ESL user account (if you do not have one).

If you are not sure who your ESL Authoriser/Delegated Authoriser(s) are then please check with a colleague, your principal or manager.

For early learning services

If you need access to Secure Data Portal for an early learning service, your organisation’s funding contact must submit an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Pourato and Secure Data Portal User Request (ESL-39) form to the Ministry of Education.
