Lost or changed your phone?
If you have unfortunately lost your phone, you have options!
If you use Google Authenticator, you should be okay to log back onto your Google Authenticator App with your Google Account and your ESL MFA Account will still be there.
If you use Microsoft Authenticator Application, unless you have previously set up a cloud upload/sync it is unlikely your ESL MFA account is retained, please refer to the instructions below:
To reset your MFA setup for any reason, please contact Education Service Desk:

The reason for contacting us is because resetting your MFA requires action from us, you will still be required to provide an MFA passcode even if you deleted the MFA account or application on your smart phone/device.
Note: To confirm your identity, you will be asked questions to verify your identity.
Removal of Your Existing MFA Setups
When the Education Service Desk analyst has completed the actions required on their end, they will ask you to perform the following steps.
Please refer to the instruction most appropriate to you.
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Tap on the MFA account associated with your ESL account.
- Tap on the cog icon.
- Tap on remove account.
- Open the Google Authenticator app.
- Tap and hold on the MFA account associated with your ESL account.
- Tap the Pen icon.
- Tap the Trash Can icon.
- Tap Remove account.
Setting Up Your New MFA

For users of Google Authenticator Application please be advised that unless you have turned off Sync in the settings of Google Authenticator Application your account information are automatically uploaded to the cloud and made available again once you sign into the authenticator application.
